Voice for Stage

Olivia trained at the world renowned Royal Central School of Speech and Drama on the Voice Studies: Teaching and Training MFA course. She has taught in several major drama school institutions such as Mountview Academy and the London College of Music.

She also works in her community taking her professional training and applying it to the heart of theatre working with children and young people.

 

Singing tuition

Everyone can sing! Olivia draws on principles from the Estill Model, Stephen King, Dr Jenevora Williams, Janice Chapman and Alex Ashworth amongst others. She works with professional and novice singers a-like and is dedicated to creating an intersectional practice.

She is also a qualified Vocal Health First Aider awarded by Vocal Health Education.

 

Musical Director

Olivia is an international musical director, pianist, and conductor. Most recently for the Off-Broadway festival production of ‘Buried: a new musical’ by Cordelia O’Driscoll and Tom Williams.

 

Orchestrator

Olivia is a musical theatre and orchestral orchestrator and arranger. Her orchestrations have gained praised from Paul Vale at the stage: “The original score…is one of the best that i’ve heard on the fringe so far” (2017) and won “Best Music” at the New York Musical Festival (2019).

Actor-Musician Research 2021

In association with the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama as part of her MFA qualification, Olivia is conducting research into how voice work can be adapted further to suit and benefit the actor-musician.
